product details
/ PRODUCT DETAILS
【Packing specification】
1 test/Box、5 tests/Box、25 tests/Box、50 tests/Box.
【Intended use】
This product is used for in vitro qualitative /quantitative detection of C Reactive Protein (CRP) / Procalcitonin (PCT) / Interleukin-6 (IL-6) in human whole blood, serum or plasma specimens. This product is also used for in vitro qualitative /quantitative detection of Heparin binding protein (HBP) in human plasma specimens. The kit could be used as the auxiliary diagnosis of infection.
【Assay principle】
This kit adopts the principle of colloidal gold chromatographic immunoassay. Antibodies against target proteins are coated with gold particles which are stored in the test strip. During testing, the target protein in the specimen reacts with those antibody-coated particles and forms a complex. The complex then migrates upward on the membrane chromatographically by capillary action. When the complex reaches the detection area (T line), the monoclonal antibody recognizing the target protein in the T-line area captures the complex, which cause the complex precipitating in the T-line area. A colorful line appears in the T-line area, which indicates a positive result. If the speciman does not contain the target protein, no complex is formed. Therefore no colorful line appears in the T-line area, which indicates a negative result. The unbound colloidal gold moves forward along the nitrocellulose membrane to the quality control area (C-line) by capillary action then is captured by the goat anti-mouse IgG antibody coated on the nitrocellulose membrane at C-line area. The colloidal gold precipitates in the C-line area and a colorful line appears there. C-line serves as a procedural control, indicating that the proper volume of specimen has been added and membrane wicking has occurred. The results can be determined qualitatively by visual observation or quantitatively by using a colloidal gold immunochromatographic analyzer. 【Packing specification】
